http://www.rimag.com/article/367757-Eco_Friendly_Foodservice_Green_and_Growing.php whats so appealing about this article is that. most of the articles I've ever been able to find have always been about the economic benefits, and how specific restaurants that have gone green have seen an increase in sales. but this article shows the amount of consumers who appreciate eating in green restaurants and how much it appeals to them

It's good to see that people are seeing that it is the right thing to do. It seems to be catching on quickly about how much being green & eco friendly can really help the environment and gain customers. I think it will be something everyone will be doing some part in contributing to at some point.
ReplyDeleteI really like this article because it tells what others think "going green" means to them. I really agree with Tara because it is catching on really quickly, and everyone seems to want to live "green lifestyles." I also like how this article showed a pie chart of what being green means to consumers and how some people (6.2%) thought that it meant the color green.
ReplyDeleteIt's good to see that they're getting consumers involved. Even taking that simple poll about what green means to them makes consumers aware of what businesses are trying to do, and why. And really? The color green? Haha come on, I didnt think people were THAT clueless .. going green is a big thing!
